Piglette

Firefly from
1957: a 12-foot one-design
sailing dinghy, designed by Uffa Fox.
The
Firefly was designed in 1946 and raced in the 1948 Olympics as a
single-hander. Around 4,000 boats were produced. Piglette, number
1883, was built by
Fairey Marine’s hot moulding process in 1957 and cost under £200.
