Lucy Lou

Lucy Lou is a 1920s French-designed motor-sailing yacht designed for family cruising.

The original cabin has been removed to offer more cockpit space as part of a recent renovation which should be complete by mid-2026. The broken inboard petrol engine will be replaced by an inboard diesel engine. Significant rot/wear/damage in the keel, transom & rudder will need skilled attention.

It will be used for demonstrations and promotions afloat & skills transfer between members. It will not be a museum exhibit as it is not viable to restore her to her built condition.

It was donated by an active Member who is renovating her.
